Ads, training, and other messages
As the world shifts in response to Covid-19, messages that voice over artists have been engaged to share have changed too. They’re about caring, community, our shared experience, and mostly hope. We have a lot to sort through. There’s a lot of uncertainty.
Kim Handysides has been happy to share messages of compassion, inspiration and hope on behalf of companies and organizations worldwide. Industries, health care companies, education systems, governments all have made swift changes. Some have been put on pause. Others have scrambled to meet new demands. Always there has been a need to communicate our new reality. Here is a small sample of some of many the Covid-19 ads, mission statements and public service announcements that Kim Handysides Voice Over has recently helped produce.
If you have a Covid message that calls for a heart-felt read, need a fast turn-around time, or help with any voice over service to that end, Kim is happy to supply that. She can record live direct through an internet or phone connection, or Source Connect, or supply you with a sample read or scratch track to make sure you like what you’re hiring before you do so.
A voice for guided meditation for several apps and programs, along with the need to spread covid-19 response messages, Kim noticed an uptick in the market of meditation narrations. It makes sense. Anxiety, stress, worry and fear are common reactions to uncertainty and change. And our world has swiftly changed at a profound level.
A long-time practitioner of meditation herself, and with a first-hand familiarity of distraction and anxiety disorders, Kim wrote, performed and produced two six-minute anti-stress meditations especially for family, friends, client-colleagues…frankly anyone who might benefit from introducing a few minutes of calm into their lives now.
6 Minute Anti-Anxiety Mediation #1
An introduction to meditation and is meant to help you get started. The interaction keeps you on track and teaches what to do when unwanted thoughts take you down a gloomy, heavy or uncomfortable path.
The 6 Minute Anti-Anxiety Mediation #2
Less “chatty” and so helpful when you have listened to Meditation #1 enough to begin to have a little mastery over the technique. Think of it as an intermediate level guided meditation.
Both meditations free for you to share among your family, friends and colleagues. Please feel free to use them or share the links for them as much and as often as your like.
Once you move past the intermediate level, you will be at the point of being able to do unguided meditation – on your own and without support. Researchers at Stanford and Harvard say continued daily practice can help achieve:
- Less anxiety
- Positive mood
- Better focus
- Better memory
- Become more creative
- Feel more compassion
- Possibly build more gray matter
Wishing you good health, of mind and body and all the best as we ride this wave together.
